Illustrator creates stunning panoramic views on his coffee cups



Some draw on paper, others sketch on napkins, but Australian illustrator Adrian Hogan chose coffee cups

Although disposable coffee cups may not be the easiest medium to draw on, their structure allows the Tokyo-based artist to draw panoramic views of the world around him.

The concept of drawing on cups started when Hogan’s friend, Mariya Suzuki, asked him to be a part of her coffee-themed exhibit in Tokyo. After drawing scenes on his cups, Hogan began filming them with the real life area in the background.
